Our 16-hour course has been designed to meet the training requirements needed to satisfy Maryland's Wear & Carry's curriculum. The curriculum includes both classroom concepts, practical application, and live fire. This course objectives include firearm safety, pistol nomenclature and selecting a pistol for self-defense, ammunition knowledge and defensive ammunition, basic defensive pistol skills, drawing from concealment, loading and stoppage remediation, mindset, introduction to Maryland Law, Conceal Carry fundamentals, and firearms proficiency.  When considering becoming a conceal carry permit holder you must approach carrying firearms in public with the right knowledge, skills, and attitude. Students must show proficiency in firearms by passing a course of fire as prescribed by MSP. Our instructors are Maryland Qualified Handgun Instructors, and NRA certified. The course will consist of two separate days of instruction. You must pre-register to attend this course.

 Each student is responsible for providing their own ammunition and firearm at their own cost. You will need a total of 50 rounds of ammunition

Firearms are limited to revolvers and pistols. We do not accept .44 Magnum for use for in the qualification round and other training.

All students must bring an appropriate holster for their firearm and wear range appropriate clothing which includes closed-toe shoes and a sturdy belt.

Students must attend both days to receive full credit for the Maryland wear and carry certificate. either course.
